A quick look at live Amazon search running on a WordPress site.
What is PaapiPlugin?
PaapiPlugin (Paapi Product Search for Amazon) is a WordPress plugin that puts live Amazon search on any site. Visitors search Amazon's catalog without leaving, and every click is tagged with the site owner's Associate ID. One shortcode, no coding required.
How it works
- Install the free plugin from WordPress.org
- Enter your Amazon Associate tag
- Drop
[psfa_search]on any page - Visitors get full Amazon product search; every click tagged with the Associate ID
How product data is connected
PaapiPlugin offers three paths to connect Amazon product data, in this order:
- Managed API (Beta): removes the setup friction for new affiliates. A user gets live Amazon search in about 30 seconds with no PA-API approval needed yet and no credentials to configure. It is labelled Beta and is the fastest way to see the plugin working.
- Creators API (recommended): the bring-your-own-credentials path. Users connect their own Amazon Creators API credentials when they are ready, which is where most active affiliates land.
- Product Advertising API (legacy): Amazon's older PA-API v5 is still supported for users who already run it.
Why our offer converts
Solves a real pain
Amazon affiliates lose commissions every time a visitor leaves to search Amazon directly. The publisher did the work to bring the visitor to their site, then loses the commission to the next link the visitor clicks on amazon.com. PaapiPlugin keeps visitors on-site, tagged with the publisher's Associate ID, so the publisher earns on whatever they buy. Not just the products that were manually reviewed. The math favors search: a static review page earns one commission; a search page earns on whatever the visitor decides to buy.
One shortcode, no coding
[psfa_search] and the publisher has a live Amazon storefront. Visual builder is included for customization (6 appearance axes). Setup is fast enough that publishers can offer "we'll add Amazon search to your site in under an hour" as a freelance / agency upsell.
Genuinely free version
The free version on WordPress.org is fully functional, not a trial. Includes live search across 5 Amazon categories, 5 pages of results, autocomplete, smart filters, caching, infinite scroll, grid layout, responsive design. Buyers self-select after seeing it work. This is unusual in the WP-affiliate space (AAWP and AmaLinks Pro have no free version; Content Egg's free version excludes Amazon entirely; Lasso's free tier is restricted to single product displays).
Modern stack, modern UI
React 19 with build-time SSR for instant first paint. 6-axis appearance system. White-label mode (remove "Powered by" branding for agency / client sites). A comprehensive automated test suite across PHPUnit, Vitest, and Playwright. Compatible with WordPress 5.8 through 6.9. Supports both PA-API v5 and Amazon's Creators API auth.
Commission and tracking
Rate
50% lifetime recurring commission on Premium ($39/year) and on each of the three optional addons ($19/year each: Product Boxes, Comparison Tables, Analytics).
| What you sell | Customer pays | You earn (50% recurring) |
|---|---|---|
| Premium only | $39/yr | $19.50/yr recurring |
| Premium + 1 addon | $58/yr | $29.00/yr recurring |
| Premium + 2 addons | $77/yr | $38.50/yr recurring |
| Premium + all 3 addons | $96/yr | $48.00/yr recurring |
SKU coverage detail
Each SKU pays commission independently. A customer who buys Premium only pays you $19.50/yr. A customer who later adds Product Boxes pays you another $9.50/yr. A customer who later adds Comparison Tables pays you another $9.50/yr. A customer who later adds Analytics pays you another $9.50/yr. Total potential per customer: $48/yr recurring.
Note: Addons require an active Premium subscription as a parent. If a customer cancels Premium, the addon subscriptions also end.
Tracking
- Cookie: 30 days from the click
- Attribution: AWIN last-click
- Validation delay: 28 days from purchase
- Refund handling: refunded sales decline in AWIN before validation closes (28-day validation greater than 7-day refund window means no clawbacks after payout)
- Recurring: every successful renewal pays commission as long as the customer remains attributed via AWIN's last-click model
- Currency: USD via AWIN's standard payout schedule
Four promotional angles that work
1. Comparison content (highest converter)
Example headline: "AAWP vs PaapiPlugin: Which Amazon affiliate plugin earns more commissions in 2026?"
Opening snippet:
"Most Amazon affiliate WordPress plugins do the same thing: display the product you tell them to display. AAWP, Lasso, AmaLinks Pro, Content Egg Pro all share that limitation. But there's one plugin that takes a fundamentally different approach. PaapiPlugin doesn't just display products. It lets your visitors search Amazon's full catalog without leaving your site. The math is hard to ignore: a static review page earns one commission. A search page earns on whatever your visitor decides to buy."
Pull screenshots from: /compare/aawp-alternative/, /compare/lasso-alternative/, /compare/amalinks-pro-alternative/, /compare/content-egg-pro-alternative/.
Primary CTA: "Try PaapiPlugin free on WordPress.org"
2. Problem-aware tutorials
Example headline: "How to Add Amazon Search to Your WordPress Site (No Code)"
Opening snippet:
"If you run an Amazon affiliate site on WordPress, you've probably noticed: visitors who want to buy something different from what you reviewed leave for amazon.com, and someone else gets the commission. There's a fix. It takes one shortcode."
Walk through:
- Install PaapiPlugin (free, WordPress.org)
- Add Amazon Associate tag
- Drop
[psfa_search]on any page - Show the live demo
- Show how Premium adds full appearance customization
Primary CTA: "Get PaapiPlugin free, then upgrade to Premium when you're ready"
3. Niche-site case studies
Example headline: "I Added Live Amazon Search to My Tech Review Site. Here's What Happened to Conversions."
Opening snippet:
"My tech review site has been ranking for 'best wireless headphones 2026' for two years. The traffic is great. The conversions used to be a mess. Visitors would read the review, decide they wanted to compare other models, and leave for amazon.com to search. I'd lose them every time. Then I added PaapiPlugin's search widget right below the review."
Show: before / after metrics, specific page placement, screenshots.
Primary CTA: "See how PaapiPlugin works on the live demo"
4. "Which Amazon API now?" guides (timely)
Example headline: "What Do I Use Now the Old Product Advertising API Is Gone? A 2026 Guide"
Opening snippet:
"If you are setting up an Amazon affiliate site this year, you have probably hit the catch: you need product data to build the site, but you need a sales history to get approved for the data. Here is how the options line up. PaapiPlugin's Managed API (Beta) lets you get started in about 30 seconds with no PA-API approval needed yet, so you can see the plugin working straight away. When you are ready, you move to your own Amazon Creators API credentials, the recommended path for active affiliates. The legacy Product Advertising API is still there if you already run it."
Walk through the three paths in order: Managed API (Beta) first, Creators API (recommended) next, legacy Product Advertising API last. Pull screenshots from paapiplugin.com/demo/.
Primary CTA: "Try PaapiPlugin free on WordPress.org, no API approval needed to start"
Quick note on how to describe the Managed API: when you write about it, describe it as removing setup friction. People get started in about 30 seconds with no API approval needed yet, then move to their own Amazon Creators API credentials when they are ready. Please do not describe it as a way to bypass, skip, or get around Amazon's requirements or qualification. That framing misrepresents the feature, and we want every partner telling the same accurate story. Keep BYOC visible too: users can always connect their own Amazon credentials.
Customer demographics
Primary audience: Amazon affiliate marketers who run WordPress sites.
Secondary: Niche content creators, product review site owners, WordPress agencies building affiliate sites for clients.
Decision-maker: Site owner, solo affiliate marketer, agency developer.

Buyer journey: Discover via WordPress.org search or content review, install free version, use it for 1 to 3 weeks, upgrade to Premium when they want full appearance customization or all categories unlocked.
Voice of customer
- "My visitors read the review then go to Amazon to search for alternatives"

Anti-persona (do not target)
- Sites that don't monetize with Amazon Associates
- Affiliates who only promote 1 or 2 specific products
- Sites in countries where Amazon Associates isn't available

Branding guidelines
Approved publishers can find the full Programme Terms and the prohibited-vocabulary list on the AWIN Branding tab. The summary below covers the essentials for everyday use.
Approved brand names
- PaapiPlugin (preferred, one word, capital P and P)
- Paapi Product Search for Amazon (full product name)
- PSFA (acceptable abbreviation in technical contexts only; spell out PaapiPlugin on first reference)
Do not write "Paapi Plugin" (two words), "paapi plugin" (lowercase), "PAAPI Plugin" (all caps), or any other variation.
Wordmark and logo usage
- Use only the official wordmark and logo files provided in the brand assets section above (or in the Documents tab of the AWIN profile).
- Do not modify, recolor, stretch, rotate, add effects to, or otherwise alter the wordmark or logo.
- Maintain clear space around the wordmark equal to the height of the lowercase letters.
- Do not place the wordmark on a busy background that reduces legibility.
- Do not combine the wordmark with your own logo in a way that suggests a co-branded product or official partnership beyond the standard affiliate relationship.
Product screenshots
- Screenshots of the live PaapiPlugin search widget, admin pages, and the demo at paapiplugin.com/demo/ may be used freely in reviews, comparisons, tutorials, and promotional content.
- Do not edit screenshots in a way that misrepresents product features, pricing, or appearance.
- Do not crop screenshots to remove the PaapiPlugin attribution where it appears in the UI.
Brand voice when writing about PaapiPlugin
- Lead with the affiliate-side benefit: visitors search Amazon on the publisher's site, every click is tagged with the publisher's Associate ID.
- Specific over vague: "5 categories, 50 products, infinite scroll, autocomplete" beats "powerful features".
- Do not use em-dashes. Use hyphens, periods, or commas.
- Do not use vocabulary that frames the plugin as bot-like, get-rich-quick, or as an unauthorised copy of Amazon. The full prohibited-vocabulary list is published on the AWIN Branding tab and is required reading for approved publishers.
- Do not invent superlatives. Stick to verifiable claims.
Pricing claims (must be accurate)
- Free version on WordPress.org is fully functional, not a trial.
- Premium is $39/year per site, year-to-year subscription, cancel anytime.
- Three optional addons (Product Boxes, Comparison Tables, Analytics) are $19/year each, sold separately, and each requires an active Premium subscription as a parent.
- Do not write that Premium "includes addons" or "unlocks addons". Premium does not bundle addons; addons are separate purchases gated on Premium.
Refund policy (verbatim wording required)
When referencing the refund policy, use the verbatim wording from our terms and conditions:
"We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee: if the plugin is unusable and we are unable to resolve the issue within 7 days of your purchase, we will refund you in full."
Do not soften the policy by dropping the 7-day window, the "unusable" condition, or the "unable to resolve" condition. The full source is at paapiplugin.com/terms-and-conditions/.
Trademark and domain restrictions
- Do not register or use domain names containing "PaapiPlugin", "Paapi", "PSFA", "Paapi Product Search", or any common misspelling or variation.
- Do not bid on PaapiPlugin trademark or brand keywords in any paid search campaign (see the AWIN PPC tab for full restrictions).
Disclosure
- All promotional content must include clear affiliate disclosure that complies with FTC, ASA, and equivalent laws in your jurisdiction.
- AI-generated content that mentions or links to PaapiPlugin must include clear AI disclosure on every page.
