WordPress Plugins for the Amazon Creators API (2026)

Which WordPress plugins work with the Amazon Creators API?
As of 2026-09-24, these plugins say they support Amazon's Creators API: AAWP, AzonPress, AffiliateX, affiliate-toolkit, Affiliate Amazon Shortcode, Affiliate Super Assistent, Amazing Affiliates, Affiliate AI Lite, Easy Affiliate Links (in its Premium add-on) and PaapiPlugin. Most of them display products you choose. PaapiPlugin does that too, with grids, category pages, and product boxes and comparison tables as add-ons, and it also puts live Amazon search on your own pages.
The roundups you'll find mostly skip this question
You have an Associates account, a site, and a shortlist of affiliate plugins. The first thing to check is whether each one can talk to the Creators API. It is Amazon's current product API, and it is where the prices, images and product details on your page come from.
The popular roundups won't tell you. Elegant Themes' list was last updated in January 2025 and never mentions the Creators API. aThemes and WP Table Builder still recommend AmaLinks Pro, which shut down in December 2025.
So we went to the plugins themselves: each vendor's docs, pricing page or WordPress.org listing, all checked on 2026-09-24. Every row below links to its source, so you can check it again before you buy.

What "supports the Creators API" should mean
A line on a feature list doesn't tell you much. Confirm these before you install anything.
The plugins, one by one
AAWP
AAWP is the best-known paid option, and it isn't on WordPress.org. It builds product boxes, bestseller lists and comparison tables, which AAWP says update automatically. Its docs walk through Creators API setup: you enter the Credential ID and Secret under Settings, Amazon API. It also sells its own paid "AAWP API" as a fallback.
Pricing is €79 a year for one site, €129 for three, or €299 one-time for one site, all before tax. Our AAWP alternative page compares the two in more detail.
AzonPress
AzonPress isn't on WordPress.org either. Its 2.3.0 release, in the vendor's words, "moves every product lookup over to Amazon's new Creators API." Layouts cover grid, box, list, table and widget. The single-site plan lists at $39 a year, and the pricing page was showing a discount when we checked. There's a side-by-side on our AzonPress alternative page.
AffiliateX
AffiliateX is a block plugin for Gutenberg and Elementor, with a free version on WordPress.org. It connects with Creators API credentials. Its Pro plan adds a "Zero API" mode capped at 3,000 requests a month.
Pro showed $55 a year for one site on 2026-09-24, but AffiliateX's own article says Pro starts at $79, so the lower number may be a promotion. See our AffiliateX alternative page.
Free plugins on WordPress.org
Five smaller plugins list Creators API support and cost nothing to start:
- affiliate-toolkit advertises "Amazon and Creator API" support, with a free core and a paid Pro.
- Affiliate Amazon Shortcode supports Creators API v3 and detects the v3.1, v3.2 or v3.3 endpoint on its own.
- Affiliate Super Assistent (ASA) lists Creators API support. It was tested up to WordPress 6.9.9 when we checked.
- Amazing Affiliates names Creators API integration in its listing title.
- Affiliate AI Lite is built on the Creators API. Its no-API mode needs Pro.
An r/Wordpress thread about plugins for the Creators API named two of these: Affiliate Amazon Shortcode and AmazonSimpleAdmin, which is ASA's plugin slug.
Link tools: Easy Affiliate Links and Tasty Links
Easy Affiliate Links manages affiliate links in general, and its Creators API search and linking sit in the Premium add-on. Tasty Links pulls product images through the Creators API, and its linking works without a key. Both suit sites that mostly need clean text links rather than product displays.
Content Egg
Content Egg's WordPress.org listing mentions the Creators API, but we couldn't tell from it what that support covers. Ask the vendor before you depend on it. Our Content Egg Pro alternative page covers the rest of the comparison.
AmaLinks Pro
AmaLinks Pro shut down on 2025-12-29, according to its announcement. A roundup that still recommends it hasn't been checked in a while. If AmaLinks shortcodes are still on your pages, the AmaLinks Pro alternative page covers replacing them.
PaapiPlugin (ours)
This one is ours, so weigh it accordingly. PaapiPlugin is free on WordPress.org, and the free build connects to the Creators API. You enter your Credential ID and Credential Secret, pick your auth region and marketplace, and press Test Connection.
It covers what the display plugins above do. One shortcode builds a product grid or a category page, and two $19/year add-ons, which need Premium, add product boxes and comparison tables.
The difference is live Amazon search. Visitors type into a search box on your page, with autocomplete, and find products you never linked by hand. Every result carries your Associate tag.
[psfa_search category="Electronics" pagination="none" count="6"]
The first line gives visitors a search box. The second shows a fixed grid of six products.
Find a product in live search, click + Box, and place it anywhere with live prices and deal badges.
Put up to 10 products side by side, with winner badges and a stacked or scrolling mobile layout.
The free version includes 5 categories and up to 5 pages of results. Premium, at $39 a year, opens every category your Amazon store offers and goes up to Amazon's 10-page ceiling. Each site uses its own credentials and Associate tag, and the tag is always yours.
If you'd like to see it running before you set up credentials, PaapiPlugin also has a Managed API connection that doesn't ask for Amazon API credentials. On that path the card shows a Check price on Amazon link instead of a price, so connect your Creators API credentials when you want prices on the card.
What the Creators API doesn't return: customer reviews
This is the question to put to every vendor. The Creators API returns offer data, meaning price, savings and deal details, but no customer reviews. A plugin can't pull Amazon's star rating and review count through it.
That leaves a plugin two honest choices: leave the stars off, or let you enter a rating yourself. In PaapiPlugin, the Product Boxes and Comparison Tables add-ons take a rating you set per product in the admin, and the card shows that rating. Whichever plugin you shortlist, ask which approach it takes. A row of empty stars on a review site looks broken.
Switching plugins without breaking your pages
Your Creators API credentials and Associate tag belong to your Associates account, so they come with you. Your product displays don't. Shortcodes and blocks belong to the plugin that registered them, and once it's deactivated they can show up as raw text or vanish from the page.
- Search your posts for the old plugin's shortcode or block name, and list every page that uses it.
- Install the new plugin, enter your credentials and test the connection.
- Rebuild your highest-traffic pages first, then work down the list.
- Deactivate the old plugin once the list is empty.
If you're still comparing whole categories of plugin rather than Creators API support, the Amazon affiliate plugin buyer's guide is the longer read, and the best free Amazon affiliate plugin post covers where each free tier stops.
Try it on your own site first
PaapiPlugin is free on WordPress.org and connects to the Creators API in the free build. Premium is $39/year for one site (about $3.25 a month), $69 for three sites and $99 for unlimited. Product Boxes and Comparison Tables are $19/year each, need Premium, and cover every site on your license. Contact us within 7 days and we'll refund 100% of your money if you experience an issue that makes the plugin unusable and we are unable to resolve it.

Which WordPress plugins support the Amazon Creators API?
As of 2026-09-24: AAWP, AzonPress, AffiliateX, affiliate-toolkit, Affiliate Amazon Shortcode, Affiliate Super Assistent, Amazing Affiliates, Affiliate AI Lite, Easy Affiliate Links (in its Premium add-on) and PaapiPlugin. Tasty Links uses it for product images. Content Egg's listing mentions it, but we could not confirm what the support covers. AmaLinks Pro shut down on 2025-12-29.
Is there a free WordPress plugin for the Amazon Creators API?
Yes. Affiliate Amazon Shortcode, Affiliate Super Assistent and Amazing Affiliates are free on WordPress.org, and affiliate-toolkit, Affiliate AI Lite and AffiliateX have free versions with paid upgrades. PaapiPlugin's free build also connects to the Creators API, with live search, 5 categories and up to 5 pages of results.
What do I need before a plugin can use the Creators API?
An Amazon Associates account, your Associate tag, and Creators API credentials issued to that account. Amazon's documentation asks for at least 10 qualifying sales within the past 30 days before it grants access. Amazon issues the credentials, not the plugin.
Does the Creators API include star ratings and reviews?
It returns price, savings and deal data but no customer reviews, so a plugin cannot pull Amazon's star rating through it. In PaapiPlugin, the Product Boxes and Comparison Tables add-ons show a rating you set per product in the admin.
Is AmaLinks Pro still available?
No. AmaLinks Pro shut down on 2025-12-29, according to its announcement. A roundup that still recommends it is out of date.
Is PaapiPlugin only a search plugin?
No. One shortcode builds product grids and category pages, and two $19/year add-ons that require Premium add product boxes and comparison tables. Live Amazon search on your own pages comes on top of that, in the free version too.
